This extension does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal or sensitive user data.
No personally identifiable information, browsing history, search queries, user activity, authentication data, financial information, or website content is collected.
All functionality operates locally within the user’s browser.
Storage Permission
The extension uses the Chrome storage permission only to save user preferences locally on the user’s device.
These preferences include settings such as:
- Enabled or disabled features
- Selected preset modes (Focus Mode, Minimal Mode, Research Mode, Creator Mode)
- Theme preferences
- Extension on/off state
This data remains entirely local within the browser and is never transmitted to any external server.
Tabs Permission
The tabs permission is used only to detect when a YouTube tab is active so the extension can apply user-selected settings in real time.
The extension does not read, monitor, record, or store browsing history, page content, search activity, or user behavior.
Host Permissions
Host permissions are limited strictly to YouTube domains, including:
These permissions are required to identify and modify selected interface elements directly within the YouTube page’s DOM (such as Shorts, recommendations, comments, autoplay, and related sections).
The extension does not access or interact with any other websites.
Remote Code
This extension does not use remote code.
All JavaScript, CSS, and other resources are bundled within the extension package and executed locally.
No external scripts, APIs, remote servers, or third-party code are used.
Data Sharing
The extension does not sell, transfer, or share user data with any third parties.
No data is used for advertising, analytics, tracking, profiling, or monetization.
Security
All processing occurs locally within the user’s browser.
Because no personal data is collected or transmitted, the risk of data exposure is minimized.
Changes
If this Privacy Policy changes in the future, the updated version will be reflected on the Chrome Web Store listing with a revised updated date.
